Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Position: Suzuki Violin/Viola Teacher

Description: Teaching position in a rapidly growing Suzuki string program at the Upper Valley Music Center, a nonprofit community music school with programs for children and adults. In addition to the Suzuki program, UVMC offers year-round instruction in a variety of instruments, as well as orchestra, chorus, ensembles, school outreach, fiddle, and other group programs.

Duties: Full-time position includes private and group Suzuki violin/viola lessons and a beginning strings class at in one local public school. Close collaboration with other faculty and parents expected in developing Suzuki and other UVMC programs expected. Faculty members are encouraged to show organizational commitment through participation in events, concerts, and programming.

Qualifications: Music degree and SAA registration in Books 1 – 6 required, Books 7 & above preferred. Candidate must be committed to Suzuki philosophy, with well-developed nurturing and communication skills. Teamwork and willingness to help develop UVMC programming essential.
