The 50th International Viola Congress (IVC) will take place in Paris, France on January 19-23, 2026, hosted by the Société Française de l’Alto under the aegis of the International Viola Society. This landmark edition, themed “New Horizons – Between Heritage and Diversity,” invites musicians, scholars, and innovators to explore the rich traditions of the viola while embracing new artistic frontiers.
