Gabrielle Padilla, DMA, is a violist dedicated to teaching, performance, and chamber music. She recently served as interim viola faculty at Virginia Tech and the Interim Director of the Virginia Tech String Project as well as a Lecturer at West Virginia University. As an active clinician and presenter, she has presented at the 2021 American Viola Society Festival, 47th International Viola Congress, 2022 National Flute Association Convention, and as a master class guest artist for the 2021 Puerto Rico Summer Music Festival. Gabrielle has held the positions as the Quartet-in-Residence, with the Montani Quartet, and as a Viola Teaching Fellow at the Interlochen Arts Camp since 2019. She is a Board Member of the American Viola Society. Studies were at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, Ball State University with Dr. Katrin Meidell, and West Virginia University where she proudly served as the Graduate Assistant of Andrea Priester Houde.
