Myron Rosenblum, violist and viola d’amore player, studied viola with Lillian Fuchs, Walter Trampler, and William Primrose and viola d’amore with Karl Stumpf. He has performed with the New York City Opera, American Opera Society, Clarion Concerts, the Greenwich Quartet, New York Consort of Viols, Brattleboro Music Festival, New York Grand Opera, Boston Pops Tour Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and others. Rosenblum is the founder of the Viola Research Society, the predecessor of the American Viola Society and served as the first president of the AVS. He has appeared as lecturer and performer at congresses of the American Viola Society, the Violin Society of America, and the Viola d’amore Society of America.
